Don't get me wrong here, I'm not trolling for a FWB, but the concept sounds interesting. All the benefits of a lover......only without the love. Can it be done? Has anyone here ever been in a FWB relationship (with either a male or female)?. Is it a real situation or just a fantasy that alot of people have? I personally don't think it can be done. First of all, I just don't buy into the sex without emotion idea. If I am to the point that I am climbing into bed with someone, there is definitely going to be some emotional feeling at work, not just lust. It may not be love, but it will be alot more than "thanks alot....see ya" when the evening is over. Since the beginning of the year, I have had several people hinting (I think lol) that they would like to be FWB's, and even though at first the thought was kind of exciting, I just don't think it would work for me. But even though it might not be for me, everyone is different. Has anyone been in this situation? I'm interested in how it worked and how it turned out.
Been there/done done that and my advice is don't go there. There is no such thing as a "friend" with benefits. If that person was a real friend, they would not use you for sex and make believe there isn't anything else to it. I'll add more later, but I'm starting to get really angry!!!
I agree also here.I do believe it can be done if you are and unassuming unfeeling person.Other wise it will hurt and you will get hurt. Feelings cant be tuned in or out off or on as easy as you can think it can be. Its an excuse to use and be used.
If you are a feeling person who cares dont ever do this.
